The Student Leadership Accelerator
Our Student Leadership Accelerator Program is designed to:
- Equip students with climate education tailored for African realities.
- Train them in leadership, teamwork, and project management.
- Provide resources and mentorship to launch school-based climate projects.
This approach has proven transformative. Instead of waiting for adults to act, students are stepping forward to design and implement real climate solutions.
Success in Action: The Kwa Njenga School Farm
Take the story of Ibdisana, Brafaan, and Sibel, Grade 5 pupils at Kwa Njenga Primary School. Faced with hunger in their school, they decided to take action. With guidance and support, they created a school farm that now provides food for classmates who couldn’t afford daily meals. Beyond fighting hunger, the project also teaches climate-smart agriculture—from composting to water conservation.
